Do anti-depressants boost youre mood?

so, ive been in a pretty bad mood lately, because of a girl that i think im in love with, and my friend who likes her too. and my family, and puberty, and everything else that goes on in a teenagers life, my question is, when im in this bad of a mood, and i take an antidepressant pill, will it make me happier?
