I have a question for people on anti depressants?

I went on this category because I think this one is most likely to have people on them.My therapist is obsessed with making me quit pot and he wants me to substitute it with antidepressants.He said probably lexapro.I read stories about how it turns people into emotionless zombies and how people are afraid to stop taking them.My guru doesn't like the idea of me being on medication.He says my mind must be sharp.Im just trying to be mindful.How does being on them feel like?
