When I run minecraft with plane mod, I get a black screen!?

Ok so i was looking through some mods and came across the plane mod, got interested and downloaded it following some video instructions(heres a link of the video i used: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Furcnqp6cHM)and now when i run minecraft i get a black screen, i have deleted minecraft bin folder and redownloaded it ran fine then downloaded plane mod again, and i got black screen, i deleted meta_inf as well. can someone tell me what is happening??
